MORE MY NEWS: I am very excited about this upcoming season. My plan for this year is to race the Pro-Ams and get my pro license and I am planning on going to Loretta’s in the open A and open Pro sport class. I have been working out a lot since I joined the swim team at my high school. I am a diver and this is the first time I have ever been on this team and yesterday I competed in a conference meet and finished 8th. The swim team and weight lifting class really has put me in my best shape. I am ready to get my new bike and start riding again. ABOUT ME: My name is Blake Niccum and I am a senior at Mt Vernon high School and I live just outside Indianapolis Indiana. I have a brother named Logan and he is a in the 11th grade and my sister is in her 3rd year at Florida Tech. I have been riding and racing motocross for 10 years and have had a blast doing it. I also enjoy working on my computer and I look forward to going to college and studying architecture. ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Here are some of the finishes for the 2009 race series � 2nd place in the Indiana State Championship series in 450A and 14-24A. � Currently ranked 5th in overall points for district 15 in 450A and 14-24. � 1st place in the 14-24 and 2nd place in 450A for the Midwest Amateur Championship. � I have also been featured as the No Fear featured Rider of the month on their web site. I have race all over the USA with top finishes all over. I have finished 17th a Ponca city nationals, top 4 or better every year for the last 10 years in the Indiana State Series. Top 20 in the main event at the Mini O�s and top 4 in the Regional Arena Cross Series. Many 1st place finishes this year in the A classes. I also had a part in the MTV Made show when they made a girl form my school into a motocross racer. I worked close with Malcolm McCassy turning her in to a rider. That is why I have worked hard to get the most exposure for them as I can. The MTV show was a great way to show case the products that I use to everybody watching. I use the site MXresultz.com to promote my racing and show the products used by emailing my race results and a store about the week end to over 200 emails. That exposure adds up to about 13,615 emails sent out this year and thousands of views to my web site per year. GOALS FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON: My upcoming season is going to be exciting. I do plan to do a lot of winter riding down in Alabama at Monster Mountain Motocross park and run a few local Arenacross races. The real excitement is about the 2010 outdoor season. I plan to train all winter and then hit the AMA Pro Am series and get enough points to get my Pro License. I also will be working on the Loretta Lynn�s series as well. I would like to go to Loretta�s in the 450A Classes. I know this is going to be a lot of work but I am ready.
