Rain is the story of the weekend, we were either going to race at Crossroads or Splinter Creek however both were rained out.
Went to South Fork to practice on Saturday, it drizzled all day but the track was awesome. Brennan put down a ton of laps and is riding the Super Mini well.
Sunday we went back to South Fork and the track was even better! Brennan got some riding tips from a couple friends, he worked on better lines and his corner speed. Its great to have older kids to ride with!

Super mini is pretty much done, been doing some riding and getting faster. Brennan loves the power this bike has and of course Dad always has a couple more tricks up his sleeve to give it more power!
In the past, we have not started racing regularly until school is out which is in about 3 weeks. We are ready to get back to racing!

After a bad 2009....2 injuries and incredible motor problems...we are rolling for 2010! Brennan will run Supermini on a fast running KX100. We are looking forward to a much better season!

We are on the injured reserve list. Brennan hit a kicker at Archview at their day after supercross event. He landed real hard on the front wheel and strained his rotator cuff. The doc thinks physical therapy will take care of it so we should just be out a month or so.
The 2009 season is beginning!
We have been practicing at a couple small private tracks and Brennan is looking awesome! He is throwing that KX around like a rag doll and blasting through the corners.
We are looking for a fun and successful year!
We have been practicing at a small corner track we setup on a piece of property owned by a friend close to our house. This has done wonders for teaching Brennan how to use his front brake correctly.
Brennan started School on 8/21, he was pretty excited to go and we are confident with hard work he will be as successful this year as in years past.
I am working hard on getting faster on my KX and dad is working hard on figuring out how to jet it right every weekend. We added Anderson Mechanical as a sponsor, Kurt Anderson is a friend of dads and helps him out more than anyone can imagine. He is a great mechanic and can fix about anything. As dad says, "If Kurt cant fix it, its broke"
Last weekend dad decided to take my motor apart to see if it needed rebuilt, as it turned out it needed a lot of stuff. The cylinder is in Wisconsin getting replated and I will get to ride it this weekend with a fresh rebuild and i will be able to really see what it can do!
I finally got to ride my 85! Its about time, the first race is this weekend at South Fork. I started off slow but gained confidence quick, this bike is FAST and I love it! Dad said I was cornering better than he has seen me in a long time, I guess the 65 was really too small for me!
My grades are coming out for the 3rd quarter, again hard work has paid off! My worst grade is a 94% and my best is a 99%
This year we will be running RTD Motorsports graphics. They have helped me a lot over the last few years, if you've never been in there...stop in! Tell them Brennan sent you!
I finally got my 85! It is a 2006 KX85 built by PR2. We are having the suspension setup by Jay Hall and then it will be ready to ride!
In 2007 I won the track championship in the 65JR class at South Fork Dirt Riders and finished 7th in District 17.
ABOUT ME:
I love racing dirtbikes, I get very good grades in school and love to hang out and play with my friends. One of the best parts of motocross is all the new friends I have met. My dad says I go to the track more to see them than I do to race.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
3 championships, my grades, getting faster on my KX and overcoming obstacles that life throws my way.
GOALS FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON:
In 2010 we are going to practice more and try to just hit races where there is plenty of competition. Of course, our main goal is to have lots of fun!
